Slab Plumbing for our Kit Home

We had a hard day of work watching the plumbers work. Loren took my coffee!	It was pretty chilly that morning, so I managed to get my coffee back!	Hailey and Kean weren't very excited about the whole thing, but they managed to show some enthusiasm in the way that would make me most nervous. Dont' try this at home...

Even though we were planning to do the majority of the plumbing ourselves, we hired professionals to put in the slab plumbing. There was one waste pipe in particular that had us worried, as it needed to hit a 2 foot by 6 inch wall. Definitely not the time for novice plumbers to be involved!

	This picture shows where the water supply was brought into the house through the garage slabe. Then hot and cold lines were stubbed in to the laundry room and the Master bath. All of the "hot" water pipes were marked with red tape. It's a good idea to take pictures of the stub plumbing and make notes for yourself to help you remember everything as it will be a couple months before you pay attention to them again.
	These pipes are the stub plumbing for the Master Bath and the Guest Bath.
	You can see here where the water supply enters the house and then goes through to the back of the garage where the hot water heater will be located.
	This picture is of some electrical conduit that we had the electrician place for us at the back corner of the house. We planned to run low voltage wiring from here through to the garage for irrigation, landscape lighting and outdoor speakers. He also placed some at the front corner of the house for more low voltage wiring and for coax cable for the satellites.
